Books and Tea
What goes better together than a steamy hot cup of tea with a fantastic book?
Nothing is better...so enjoy! (WITH TEA)
Nothing is better...so enjoy! (WITH TEA)
After 15 years of tea drinking, I can call myself a tea...somewhat...expert.
I have found that certain teas are better at certain times of day and one thing is known for sure, that books and tea are a fantastic combination.
This blog will tell you what tea is best for what time of day and my (Emmaleah) personal favorite flavors and times for tea.
Thank you and enjoy!
Morning Tea:
Tea in the morning is like a warm hug to warm your heart and to make you forget for a little while that you are required to attend the institution of non-stop work and stress which is school and the workplace. The best kind of tea for the morning is that of something light and flavor filled to rid of that tired feeling and to enlighten the senses for a better day. Try some white tea as it has a light aromatic smell with subtle, gradient flavors, which may be more suitable in the early morning when the feeling is still fresh.
Some white teas include:
Silver Needles (Yinzhen)
Pu-erh (Pu'er)
Jasmine
White peony
Mid-Day Tea (Lunch Tea):
For Lunch Tea, variation of black tea is great because it has strong flavor, is filling and has a bit more caffeine which can help to boost those energy levels.
Some Black Tea includes:
Earl Grey + Lady Grey
Assasam Bold
English Breakfast
Russian Smokey Tea
English Afternoon
Yorkshire Tea
Afternoon Tea:
For afternoon tea, Oolong and Green tea is great example of a tea to which is calming, reasonably low caffeine and has subtle flavors.
Some Oolong Teas includes:
Forms of Earl Grey
Forms of Lady Grey
Pearl Green
Buddha Tears
Lemon Green
Lemon, Ginger and Lemongrass Green
Herbal + Fruity Green
Tea4me:
My personal favorite tea is Yorkshire black and green teas. I love coming home to a pot of hot tea after a long day of school and it helps a lot in cold weather and in bed when you just want to relax and rewind. To me, tea is not just a warm drink, but something that helps one dream and grow in spiritual ways. It warms the cockles of the heart and creates a welcoming atmosphere to all. Anything can be shared over a hot pot of steamy tea and I feel like I bond better when tea is around. Talking about tea, I am going to make me some now.
See you later for more and have a great day!
